The Melbury Armchair is a beautifully handcrafted Windsor Chair, made from the finest cuts of British wood which are all carefully hand selected to ensure the highest quality and durability. The individual patterns of the grain and rich colour of the wood ensure that each chair is unique and a collectable piece of furniture that will last.
Designed for a restful sit-down, the gently contoured seat and wrap-around steam bent arms combine with the high back for a supportive and very comfortable statement chair that will be cherished for years to come.

We only use wood grown in sustainably managed British woodlands, with much of the timber coming from the Rotherfield Park Estate less than a mile away from our workshop. This selective process allows us to make pieces that we know will stand the test of time, and bring joy to their owners for years to come.
All our furniture is made at our Hampshire workshop where our craftspeople oversee every part of the production process, from the complex shaping of the chair’s solid wood seat, wood turning and steam bending, to hand-finishing the seats.
We combine traditional chair making with modern technology to ensure that each piece is made with great care, attention to detail and precision. Our dedication to excellence gives us confidence that our pieces will stand the test of time, and bring joy to their owners for years to come – allowing us to guarantee our chairs for 30 years.
